Jaime Gray is appointed Co-Chair of the International Bar Association’s International Construction Projects Committee

Jaime Gray, founding partner of Navarro Sologuren, Paredes, Gray (NPG
Abogados), has been appointed Co-Chair of the International Bar
Association’s (IBA) International Construction Projects Committee (ICP). He
assumed this new position on January 1, 2018.

This is the first time that a Peruvian lawyer has occupied the top position on
this committee.
About the International Construction Projects Committee

The International Construction Projects Committee is part of the IBA's
energy, environment, natural resources and infrastructure section. With 3
subcommittees under its charge, (project establishment, project execution
and dispute resolution), the International Construction Projects Committee
promotes the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences gained
during the execution of large engineering and construction projects around
the world, from their conception, initiation and execution through to
completion, and on matters related to claims management and the various
dispute resolution mechanisms.
Jaime Gray’s experience and career internationally
Jaime Gray is a Fellow of the International Academy of Construction Lawyers
(IACL), representative in Peru of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation
(DRBF) and a member of the Capacity Building Committee of the
International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC). He was the first
President of the Peruvian Society of Construction Law (SPDC), affiliated with
the Society of Construction Law (SCL) of the United Kingdom.
He has been identified as a highly recommended professional in the field of
​​Construction Law in Peru by the International Organization Who’s Who Legal
and has appeared as such in their publication since 2008. His name has also
featured annually in the Projects category of the prestigious Chambers and
Partners ranking since 2012 and since last year also in Leader’s League in the
settlement of disputes in arbitration.
He has taught many courses and given numerous lectures at conferences on
construction law in Peru and abroad in countries such as Austria, Canada,
Colombia, Brazil, the United States, Spain, Honduras, Costa Rica, the Czech
Republic, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, Ireland, Italy, Mexico,
Costa Rica, Ecuador and Chile for institutions such as the IBA, the American
Bar Association, the DRBF, ICC, FIDIC, ICC Mexico, professional associations,
universities, chambers of commerce and other institutions.
