FIDIC Contracts
NPG has been involved in different types of projects in Peru and abroad involving the construction of dams, sewage treatment plants, roads, bridges, hydroelectric plants etc. Accordingly, our lawyers have gained specific knowledge and experience in the structuring and preparation of standard construction contracts used internationally, such as the FIDIC models.
NPG has experience with and offers continuous advice to its clients in the analysis and study of the following model contracts:
- FIDIC Red Book (Conditions of Contract for Construction): Conditions of contract for building and engineering works designed by the client.
- Yellow Book (Conditions of Contract for Plant & Design – Build): Contract for electrical and mechanical plant and for building and engineering works designed by the contractor.
- Silver Book (Conditions of Contract for EPC Turnkey Projects)
- Green Book (Short Form of Contract): Contract for works of relatively low value or for simple and repetitive works.
- White Book (Client Consultant Model Services Agreement): Contract for the provision of engineering and consulting services.
Furthermore, NPG, through its founding member, Jaime Gray, offers continuous training in the use of FIDIC Contracts on official courses organized by the Peruvian Consulting Association (APC), in collaboration with FIDIC and ‘Lámbal Formación’.
